Frequently Asked Questions

How long does darshan take at Tirumala?

Waiting time varies enormously — from 2 hours (with SED or early morning slots) to 10+ hours during peak seasons and festival days. We help with timing strategy to minimise wait.

Are there any dress code requirements?

Yes. Devotees must wear traditional Indian attire — a dhoti/kurta for men; saree, salwar kameez, or churidar for women. Western clothing (jeans, shorts, sleeveless tops) is not permitted inside the temple. We brief all guests in advance.

What is the cancellation policy?

Here is the policy:

  • 30+ days before departure: 90% refund
  • 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund

Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days. No refunds are provided for no-shows.

Can we combine this with a trip to Chennai or Bangalore?

Yes — Tirupati is 140 km from Chennai and approximately 300 km from Bangalore. We can add city days either side. WhatsApp us for a combined quote.
