Shimla and Manali are two of North India’s most beloved hill destinations, and doing both in one trip is one of India’s great classic holiday circuits. This six-day tour starts in Delhi and moves through the colonial charm of Shimla to Manali’s mountain energy — covering Kufri, Mall Road, Kullu Valley, Hadimba Temple, and the spectacular Solang Valley. Comfortable 4-star hotels, daily meals, and a private AC vehicle throughout. Ideal for families, friends, and couples seeking a well-organised mountain getaway.
Day 1 — Delhi to Shimla (7–8 hrs): Early morning departure from Delhi. Arrive in Shimla by afternoon — the Himalayan air, the colonial architecture, and the views arrive all at once. Hotel check-in, freshening up, and dinner.
Day 2 — Shimla Sightseeing: Kufri (snow activities in season), Mall Road (the historic promenade), Jakhoo Temple (steep but worth it — monkeys, temple bells, and a view over the town), and the Viceregal Lodge area. Evening shopping on Mall Road.
Day 3 — Shimla to Manali via Kullu Valley (8–9 hrs): A scenic drive through the Beas River valley and Kullu. Stop at Bhuntar, Kullu’s Devi Mohan Temple, if time allows, and arrive in Manali by evening. 4-star hotel check-in and dinner.
Day 4 — Manali Sightseeing: Hadimba Temple (built 1553, set in deodar forest), Club House, Manu Temple, and Vashisht Village hot springs. Evening walk on Manali Mall Road — good food, local woollens, and mountain energy.
Day 5 — Solang Valley / Rohtang Pass Excursion: The day everyone remembers. Solang Valley for snow activities (skiing, zorbing, rope activities in season). Rohtang Pass (4,000 m) requires a permit — we handle the process. [NEEDS CLIENT INPUT: confirm if Rohtang permit fees are included or extra.]
Day 6 — Manali to Delhi: Early breakfast and departure for Delhi. Arrive by late evening, completing a well-balanced mountain circuit.
Rohtang Pass is typically closed November to May due to snow accumulation. We'll advise you on current conditions at the time of booking. If Rohtang is closed, we substitute with Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel as alternatives.
