This five-day premium tour covers all the highlights: Mall Road’s evening bustle, the cascade of Kempty Falls, the aerial view from Gun Hill, the serenity of Dhanaulti, and the mountain air of Surkanda Devi. Day 1 — Arrival in Mussoorie: Pickup and hotel check-in. Freshen up and head to Mall Road for an evening walk – the centrepiece of Mussoorie’s social life. Local shopping, dinner, and an early night.
Day 2 — Mussoorie Sightseeing: A full day covering the town’s best: Kempty Falls (cascades into a pool — accessible by ropeway from the road), Gun Hill (cable car to Mussoorie’s highest point with panoramic Himalayan views), Company Garden, and Camel’s Back Road (an evening favourite for walks). Sunset viewpoint.
Day 3 — Dhanaulti Excursion: Drive to Dhanaulti, a quieter, cooler hill destination 30 km from Mussoorie. Eco Park (famous for its rhododendron forests), Surkanda Devi Temple area, and views of the Garhwal Himalaya. Back to Mussoorie by evening.
Day 4 — Leisure, Adventure & Photography: A free day: optional adventure activities (zip-lining and ATV rides), café hopping, photography at Mussoorie’s scenic lanes, and unhurried shopping. For families, Jharipani Fall makes a good half-day excursion.
Day 5 — Departure: Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Drop off at Dehradun station or airport, or onwards to Delhi.
Yes — most sightseeing is by private cab, with short walks at each stop. The Kempty Falls ropeway and Gun Hill cable car make the highlights accessible without strenuous trekking. Let us know of any specific requirements.
