Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand, is one of India’s twelve Jyotirlingas and among the most revered pilgrimage destinations in eastern India. The Baidyanath Temple complex houses not just the Jyotirlinga but also 21 other temples within the same compound – making it one of the most significant temple clusters in the country. This three-day package covers the full darshan experience comfortably, with hotel stay, private cab, and on-ground assistance. Particularly popular during the Sawan (monsoon) month and Shravani Mela.
Day 1 — Arrival in Deoghar: Pickup from Deoghar or Jasidih Railway Station. Hotel check-in. Evening stroll through the temple town and orientation.
Day 2 — Baidyanath Temple Darshan & Sacred Sites: Early morning darshan at Baidyanath Temple (best arrived before sunrise for shorter queues). Explore the 21-temple complex. Visit Naulakha Temple (stunning white marble), Baba Basukinath Temple (if time permits — 42 km away), and the town’s other important sites.
Day 3 — Departure: Morning puja if desired, breakfast, and hotel check-out. Transfer to Jasidih or Deoghar station.
Deoghar is approximately 350 km from Kolkata (7–8 hrs), 280 km from Patna (5–6 hrs), and 250 km from Ranchi (5 hrs). Jasidih is the nearest major railway junction.
It is very busy year-round and exceptionally crowded during Sawan. For a more manageable darshan, visit outside monsoon season. We plan temple timings to minimise wait.
Basukinath is approximately 42 km from Deoghar and is included as an optional day extension
